In this workshop we are going to make and taste two different authentic puddings – a green tea ‘marshmallow’ pudding and dorayaki – and pair them with delicious Japanese tea.
What we will cover?
In this hands-on introductory workshop we are going to learn how to make Japanese sweet treats and pair them with tea.
We’ll get hands-on and make dorayaki (a traditional Japanese pikelet, a bit like a pancake sandwich!). This sweet treat is an afternoon snack in Japan. Then we will try a green tea pudding, and we’ll pair them with tasty, tasty tea.
Who will be teaching?
Harumi is a Japanese tea instructor and passionate cook. Her passion is to introduce people to authentic and high-quality Japanese tea and food, and to share her experiences in enhancing flavours and health benefits.
