What’s it all about?

Drawing anatomy is about learning how to use the pencil in an artistic way; translating the human body in scale to a white piece of paper. In this workshop you will build confidence in drawing with quick sketches taken from a real model and you’ll receive the artistic skills of “to know how to SEE to understand and how to DO to express yourself”.

What will we cover?

First of all, we’ll have a brief about how to observe the human body in an artistic sense, followed with some example drawings from diverse artists from classical and contemporary art history. Participants will use classical art techniques and traditions to compose the real model in proportion. The students will find their own line of expression after drawing many short poses with the model. Our goal is to make your hands free and to find another expression language.
